The municipal elections on March 18, 2026 are approaching. Heart for Veldhoven proudly presents our party platform: WE GET IT DONE.
Four years ago, three local parties joined forces, and since then Heart for Veldhoven has grown to become the largest group in the municipal council with 9 council members. We're ready once again to lead Veldhoven forward with determination and responsibility in the coming term.
Our key priorities
- Building for everyone - from starters to seniors, with at least 30% social rental housing
- Local taxes as low as possible - no automatic tax increases when facing budget shortfalls
- Keep free parking - 2 hours free in the city center
- Greener Veldhoven - expand biodiversity, protect trees, 8-10 m² of green space per home
- Traffic safety first - cyclists and pedestrians have priority in neighborhoods
- Focus on young and old - from young people who need to be able to stay living here to meeting places for seniors
- Engaged and service-minded - civil servants in the neighborhoods, close to residents
